I've been trying to get Mass Effect 3 on my #SteamDeck through the EA app but ran into issues. I can get it to launch but the game insists I have Origin installed, EA has locked users out of Origin, how do I launch this game on the deck?

Hmm I may attempt this see if I can move my Sims 3 games from Steam to origin then do this what do I have to lose I'm stuck in steam OS till I can afford to dual boot the system 😖
I also saw a launcher replacer for origins version ..

Want to play The Sims 3 through Origin with DLC on the #SteamDeck?You can in desktop mode! The keybinds aren't perfect but it's very playable.

Transfer Origin install exe and run then add to your Steam library. Open through Steam and install games through Origin. Pretty simple

I haven't quite figured out the best way to use Discord on the #SteamDeck but my current set up is joining a call on my desktop with a wireless headset and using earbuds with the deck... Not the best but it works.

Anyone else know a better way?

#tinytinaswonderlands on #SteamDeck it's not bad but requires some tweaking.

I got about 80 min of playtime on nearly full charge and medium-ish settings. Crashed about 3 times. I'll look into better settings soon.

The experience was enjoyable regardless.

I love my Steam Deck but Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion starts to stutter after a short time playing. Frames rarely drop below 60. Performance is great otherwise and great game too!
