23 years ago today, September 26, 2003, Bon Jovi officially released The Distance as a final single in select countries to promote their 2002 album, Bounce!

The Distance was also released as a single in other countries prior to this day in February 2003!

I’ll always say the 90’s was the peak of the band. Musically, lyrically, and vocally.

These Days was the peak of the peak.

Some of the best songwriting and chemistry between the band.

When you listen to this album, you may feel the album is dark, but Jon has said that this is one of their most optimistic albums!

And when you really dive deep into those lyrics, it’s finding optimism and the light at the end of a dark tunnel.
