The most absurd thing I’ve over spent money on- a thread: so after moving out of our rent house, I thoroughly cleaned it. We’re talking inside appliances and everything. This was already above and beyond considering what I knew the owners where about to do to the house 1/3

Here is what I already knew, a whopping TWO days later they would begin completely gutting the house. Not a SINGLE inch of flooring, cabinets or counters saved. Walls being taken down. Holes dug in the middle of the kitchen to fix foundation issues. Expensive and POINTLESS.🙃 3/3

I then let them know the house was clean & cleared. Thats when they told me, no no no. We need you to pay for a maid or it doesn’t count. AND the owner would need to be there as the maid cleaned. I had to pay a maid to clean a 3500 sq ft clean house. But WAIT gets worse 2/3
