Had emergency surgery a few days ago to remove a gallstone and my whole gallbladder. The pain since then has been something else, especially at night, just can’t get a pain free position to sleep. I know the surgery had to be done and I know it will be worth it in the end but oww

The youngest is off on his school trip today to Zanzibar. Zanzibar! How lucky is he? Best school trip I ever had was a day on a canal boat! Not quite the same level.

It’s been a week since we got home from our 3 week holiday in Egypt. Had an amazing time there seeing so many awesome tombs and temples and catching up with friends. Really missing it now, will definitely be back!

Yesterday my Dylan made his pantomime debut with the Kampala Amateur Dramatic Society in Rapunzel: A Tangled Adventure. So proud of him for having the confidence to do it and for the amazing job he did. Next year I’m seriously thinking about doing it too.

Had the BEST time at the Craig David concert last night - thanks to Sue going to the portaloo and finding a way to sneak us into the VIP section. Ended up right at the front of the stage, even touched hands with the man himself. 😁

Super proud of Dylan for his awesome iGCSE results. Can’t believe he even managed to get C’s in all the Sciences (neither him nor I could have dreamed that would happen). It wasn’t easy getting him to this point but he made it. Onwards and upwards to his A-levels and BTEC!
