@Eryn_NotErin One time, I suddenly started getting an influx of phone calls and texts regarding health insurance for someone named "Robin." Like I literally was just napping that afternoon and woke up to 10 missed calls with voicemails. Took years to get them to stop.

@ClaireMax True story: growing up, the only pasta form I had was spaghetti & I HATED it. I couldn't explain why.
Then I tried mostaccioli at a friend's house & loved it. My world was blown: pasta came in other shapes!? Turns out I just dislike the texture of spaghetti. 😂

Cuz the original criticism IIRC from book readers was Dany having the "white savior" trope. But that was, ya know, a more nuanced take under the assumption that we agree slave owners are bad. 🤦‍♀️

🤦‍♀️ I have only beginner knowledge of ASL, but I know enough to say that this interpreter is not putting on some show or using "wild human gesticulations." Everything he's doing is part of ASL and clear communication. Deal with it.
