Next person to tell me covid is ‘just the flu’ can come sit through my 4 days of fever and chills, throwing up, ear aches, and insomnia. I’m a healthy 23 y/o and am still struggling and will continue to advocate for masks and vaccines, because this isn’t just a regular flu.

It finally happened- I tested positive for Covid this morning. Thankful for modern medicine and my vaccines for doing their job, and disappointed that Ontario doesn’t mandate the obviously important isolation period anymore that most likely was the reason I got sick.

Does #AcademicTwitter have any advice for managing to work in literature reading into a busy MSc lab experiment schedule? I find my busy days doing lab work leave me with no energy for reading when I get home during the week- any advice appreciated!
