@Allison_Dupont When we built the curriculum for our whole program to be what it is now, this is the one class I fought for the most.
It’s the most important class I took in undergrad and easily the most applicable to real life. I’m so thankful it was part of my degree program at UGA.

I have perfected leaving the space for (their) awkward apology. Now, I smile while they squirm. The Four Agreements helped me learn this

@thenextcase @AshleyGWinter Agree. Also question how symptomatic the patient is right now and why they aren’t doing a watch/wait approach. The interventionalists and surgeons I work for wouldn’t be eager to rush a procedure that could be held off by meds/symptoms etc.

@anonymousRN12 Being the tech to do the echo on those for donation is tough too. Listening to the family cry, answering as many questions as I can, and letting them know the gift their family member is giving is hard all around. Honor walks etc. but, I’m grateful to be helpful on a hard day.

@leilii As an echo/vascular tech for 15 years, my observation is that the quality of u/s has advanced enough that we’re able to visualize/observe better images now. As the quality has progressed, we’re able to ?? normal things we weren’t able to observe before. Microcavitation etc.

@1LondonPaul Trazadone and a sounds app that plays all night has worked best for me. I always had a fan going, so I thought that was enough white noise. I use BetterSleep and have a few different mixes that I go between. You do 1 or layer a few. Right now is city scape, thunder, distant train
