I have a few but one I'm excited about is about an alien cat teenager who inadvertently "gets revenge" for his family against an asshole space pirate.
Another that I'm also enjoying is a story that was inspired by undertale and elden ring.

@11684e64 Pretty much. But Animate is a gateway into 2d computer animation and the rest of the stuff you learned comorbid applies to any animation medium.

Bummer. I saw the downfall of animate as soon as I heard flash would become obsolete from the web, which was a bummer because I was in the middle of studying animation, and flash was really the only digital 2d program being used/taught in our curriculum.

Adobe Animate will be discontinued on March 1.

The program was used to animate Teen Titans Go!, Smiling Friends, My Little Pony, El Tigre and many more.

There were other factors involved, but flash becoming obsolete was one of the reasons I quit animation. Learning new animation software at the time was never in the cards (it was harder than it looks after you're taught a certain way) but seeing how that's so much more accessible
