Doing the last mile via @Uber. Meanwhile Mr Nelson decided to cycle the whole way (21 miles ish) and has just cycled past me so I think that's pretty much a draw for active transport Vs public transport
Going out for the day and have chosen multi leg public transport over driving. Planners say same journey time so choosing lower carbon option (and ability to read/relax). Interesting to see if it works out...esp as we are giving up our car soon ๐ฌ
Yesterday's @AvantiWestCoast trip was on time one way, delayed on the return, but loads of good info and a train manager making himself very available to help people with onward connections etc. So on the whole still a pretty good experience (less appealing to drive the 4h+ too)
