I'm super happy for Argentina making it to the finals. I am perplexed by Tuchel parking the bus. Did he not learn anything from the previous Argentina games? Such a strong English team but poor mentality.
The best predictor of success for tech companies, at every stage from during the YC batch to public company with billions in revenue, is the rate of shipping new stuff.
ARK INVEST JUST SAID STARLINK IS ABOUT TO COMPETE DIRECTLY WITH EVERY MAJOR CELL CARRIER
And @wintonARK thinks SpaceX $SPCX is going to beat all of the carriers
Here's why:
Connectivity today is completely geographically fragmented. You're a Verizon customer in the US, but the second you move to Europe you're someone else's customer. A business operating in 10 countries has 10 different telecom relationships.
Starlink fixes that.
"That's what Starlink is basically doing, amortizing connectivity across the entire world. That gives them the ability to become a truly global telecom provider, which nobody has been. Nobody can do that today."
The next move: SpaceX launches its own cellular brand. Default satellite, fail over to cellular. Right now it's the reverse.
Google latest AI makes u generate games in a couple of minutes. that's mad crazy.

🛒 I used three different AIs to buy shoes, and only one actually got me to checkout.
Last week, I was looking for a comfortable waterproof walking shoe (men’s size 11, under $60). But I was too lazy to do the research myself.
So I turned to AI.
First stop: Grok
I asked for the best waterproof walking and jogging shoes under $60.
It gave me solid recommendations, all from Walmart.
Except every single one was out of stock.
Next: ChatGPT.
Pretty similar story.
Good links, but broken or unavailable.
Finally, I tried Amazon Rufus, the AI assistant built into the Amazon mobile app.
I pasted in the exact same prompt.
And instantly got multiple in-stock options with fast delivery.
Within minutes, I bought one of the top recommendations.
No friction. No dead ends.
Takeaway:
All three AIs were able to pull listings and make solid recommendations.
In fact, Grok and ChatGPT had better overall suggestions than Rufus, but the products were unavailable.
Rufus still won because of one simple advantage: availability.
It could not only recommend, but also fulfill.
The overall experience wasn’t great, but it was a fast purchase I didn’t want to put much thinking behind. The UX can be much better.
Would you trust AI to make your next buying decision? Or do you still prefer to click around yourself?
I've been a fan of @linkinpark since its inception. Listening to their songs after Chester's death feels different. The lyrics reflect struggle and emotion on a much deeper level. He had an incredible gift to channel his personal struggles and darkness into such beautiful music.
