One aim of our Practice group is to develop best practice guidelines to ensure professionals place families at the centre of care provided to those with ABI. Thank you to NR Times for publishing the first piece about this work: https://t.co/frwBiwANmZ
The ABI government strategy has still not landed. See below a link to the latest blog by our Co-Chair @dralysonnorman about why this is so desperately needed #FamilesAfterABI

@FromPhDtoLife I bring isolated families together who have been affected by brain injury and facilitate an exploration of their lived experiences through dance and movement. I evidence the experiences to inform and action policy change.
In support of #ABIweek we are please to present the very talented @sararose354 performing movement art depicting the feelings of family members after brain injury in 90 seconds https://t.co/eOQMxETUfm
Today we are pleased to present another 90 second podcast, this time by the amazing @Mark_HollowayHF talking about #FamiliesAfterBrainInjury and anxiety #ABIweek https://t.co/3sk4fNkEoF
The Families After ABI event, 21st March included a piece by Sara Rose about how difficult it is to access info & support for families after brain injury on the internet. @tracynorrisevan@CJWhiffin@draudreydaisley @Mark_HollowayHF @dralysonnorman
@jsmnpnv I also dance a couple of times a week and will often in my movement breaks get the skipping rope out, hula hoop or kettle bells. My mantra is little and often so as to boost energy and mood rather than tire myself out.
