Amazon is partially responsible for the soaring rent prices and no affordable housing. People struggling with addiction should be provided with the help that they need—don’t demonize the most powerless people in society.

@CMTMosqueda Actually the $800,000 designated to 5 Self Managed Community Villages sheltering 150 people was stripped out of the balancing package.  Several 40 person top down corporate villages costing 1.4 million apiece are all that remains.

@fatherqueerest If she was clearly on substances and was acting “erratic” then why wasn’t she in an ambulance with medics? Why was she handcuffed and put into a patrol car? Because addiction is looked at as a criminal issue. She wasn’t treated like a human being. This is disgraceful.
