Things to remember about Charlie Kirk:
- he said it was a mistake to pass the Civil Rights Act in 1964
- he blamed "Jewish money" for ruining American "culture"
- he said gay people are a disease
- he said the 2nd amendment is worth the cost of "some gun deaths"
Update: here he is!
After multiple calls, emails, and texts to Gov. Stitt’s office to determine if he’s in the state went unanswered, and no words from Stitt on the wildfire since Saturday, he makes time to talk to network news on the dismantling of the education department.
just got the call. fired. i was the DEI coordinator at the department of parks & recreation. i was in charge of the gay penguin weddings at the local zoo
Mixed results for Okla Supreme Court. Justice Kauger, the driving force behind the Sovereignty Symposium since 1988, was narrowly defeated by Gov Stitt’s dark money campaign. The loss is a blow to those who believe in tribal sovereignty and a win for those who fear and oppose it. The most anti-tribe governor in state history will appoint her replacement. Two other targets- Gurich and Edmondson- won. I appreciate the service of all three. The work of defending & asserting tribal sovereignty must continue undaunted. #IndianCountry https://t.co/u99MVo8sWJ
“At the ACLU, we play the long game. We’ve been here for 105 years, through 19 presidents . . . to ensure that erosions of civil rights or civil liberties will be hard-fought and hotly contested.”
