@myoldhaunt It’s less about the literal imagery and more about how those images make you feel. Because it’s those heightened feelings that define Beau as a person. But that’s just how I took it!

@myoldhaunt My take is that nothing we see can be taken at face value because Beau is an anxious, ill person. So his bad neighborhood is perceived as violent to a comical degree, teen girls terrifying/confrontational, and his absent father who supposedly died shooting a load is a penis demon
