🚨WATCH: TALKSPORT DELETED SIMON JORDAN VIDEO DEFENDING TRUMP & US WORLD CUP POLICY 🔥

Simon Jordan has unloaded in defence of the US authorities and the decision to block the Somali referee from the 2026 World Cup. TalkSPORT quickly took it down.

On the Somali ref visa issues, he said:

“That’s not a mess. That’s an issue from his side. That’s an issue for the people that represent him.”

On the Iranian ban and restrictions, he continued:

“Whether you like it or you don’t like it, the US is at war with Iran, it’s hardly a surprise that you are not going to particularly want Iranian supporters coming into the country.”

Jordan on Infantino’s “most inclusive World Cup” promise:

“There are exceptions. If you don’t meet your visa requirements and if you’re at war with a country, those are possibly reasonable expectations.”

He ripped into the media circus: “We’re doing what media usually does which is find a reason to find something other than the football to talk about.”

Jordan called out the pattern: Every tournament (Russia, South Africa, Qatar) the media attacks the host nation, with the West lecturing everyone else on how to live while having “no convictions of our own”.

And his final take? Despite the politics and “Trump Derangement Syndrome”, the 2026 World Cup is still going to be a feast of football - “as good as we’ve ever seen before”.
