Yesterday, we met this incredibly sweet street dog and her little fluffy potato pups. She was doing her absolute best to care for them, but she was exhausted and needed a helping hand. We promised her we’d be right back.
We went on a little shopping spree to completely spoil this family:
🍼 A huge tray of nourishing goat milk for the tiny puppers so they can grow big and strong!
🧸 The softest blanket and a giant fluffy teddy bear to keep the babies cozy while they snooze.
🥩 A massive, delicious kibble and wet food for Mama because she is a total rockstar and deserves the world!
Right now, there isn't much else to do but let them enjoy their full bellies and rest up. 🐶 Once everyone is a little older and healthy enough, Mama and all her babies are officially on our sterilisation list to ensure they live their best, healthiest lives and we help break the cycle! ✂️

As a Gen X adult, my Saturday mornings as a kid were for cartoons.
There were cartoons about army guys, a nearly naked dude with a sword, and small blue guys who lived in mushrooms.
One cartoon stuck out, and it was Transformers. In that cartoon, one character stuck out and it was Optimus Prime.
Every kid I knew LOVED Prime, and we wanted the toy of him.
Later, it was touching to hear Peter Cullen speak about how the voice of Prime came from his brother and veteran Marine who said- “Real heroes don’t yell and scream and act tough. A TRUE leader must be strong enough to be gentle.”
Peter may be gone, but his words and voice will live on forever, and hopefully the lesson of what it means to be a leader.
