A massive turnout at today’s State Budget Business Lunch.

South Australian businesses know that research and development drives economic growth for our state.

Today marks 170 years since the first public passenger train departed from Adelaide Station.

On April 19, 1856, the first passenger service ran from Adelaide to Port Adelaide, with the Port Line officially opening two days later.

That first journey marking the beginning of South Australia’s passenger rail network.

My first job was as a trolley boy at 15.

I loved working at Woolies. It was a great place to work, and I made some great mates over the seven years I was there.

It might seem like a small thing, but it taught me a lot.
