Dbacks lose to Pirates. Yes, we just lost our 1st place status. 0-8 on leaving runners on base. Our pitching is going South. Why don’t we start pulling our pitchers before it becomes too bad to recover. We can turn this around but we need some good hitting and pitching.
when Biden left office inflation was 3.0%. even with Covid issues and the Fed hiking interest, Biden still averaged 16.75% over the 4 years.
Those mass deportations include a lot of people who were in the system getting their green cards and had no criminal records. voter fraud is actually so small it doesn't effect the outcome of an election so, you spew about an ID, well I think most Americans wouldn't mind that, but the bill also eliminates mail in voting and people would have to take off work, stand in long lines, and most women would not have proper registration documents because they were married and changed their name, and the Safe Act doesn’t allow for marriage certificates to show they got married.
It just sounds like all your concerned about is your 401 and MAGA’s extreme messaging.
@GeorgeRfinaz13@Geniustechw I think you have a math error, $10 per week is $520 per year. Not sure those tax breaks for the everyday worker mounted to that much. The tax breaks benefit the wealthy not the everyday worker.
I’m for Capitalism too; however, right now they have an almost complete monopoly on fossil fuels, therefore, in my humble opinion, there should be a limit on how much they can profit. The oil industry isn’t like an individual stock where you can elect not to buy it, people have to buy fuel to get to work. If we had a good alternative, electric cars to offset it then I’d agree with you.
As for Pharma your way off base: Americans pay on average 2.78 times more than other western nations, per RAND Corporation.
The Timeline: When Prices Diverged1980s (The Baseline): Prior to 1985, prescription drugs were a relatively minor fraction of healthcare costs. Most Americans paid for their medications entirely out of pocket, which kept a natural ceiling on what manufacturers could charge.
1990s (The Liftoff): Spending on prescription drugs surged from $55 billion in 1990 to over $125 billion by 2000. Insurance plans began expanding pharmacy benefits, hiding the true price tags from patients.
2000s–Present (The Explosion): By 2023, U.S. prescription drug spending exceeded $600 billion. The average annual cost for specialty brand-name drugs tripled in a single decade, climbing from roughly $18,000 to over $52,000
What supercharged Pharmaceuticals:
When Congress created the Medicare Part D prescription drug benefit via the Medicare Modernization Act of 2003, it included a "non-interference" clause. This legally prohibited the federal government from using its massive purchasing power to negotiate lower drug prices for seniors. This structural dynamic left the largest pharmaceutical buyer in the world legally forced to pay whatever price companies demanded. So I don’t think your idea of the market setting prices is going to work, it hasn’t yet.
@BobLovett5@TW_Research07 Name just 1 proven lie from CNN in the past week, and if you have an answer for that back up your answer with facts! Not innuendo!
@crownemmanuel@HelloBenWhite@UEFA As an American, I must say that all you guys who are pissed about the 1 game suspension being overturned are just overwhelmingly absolutely correct! I too am pissed so well done!
@FreddyLA7 How many games have you seen so far? I’m assuming you did what other European fans did and that is a Go Fund Me account, because I don’t know any other way you could afford such a trip.
Trumps net wealth from Jan 2024 to Sep 2025 increased by 87%, trump himself mentioned 85%, he said they’re just good at making money! the highest any other investor made from what I could find was 35%. I just can’t believe his increase of net wealth is strictly due to good investing.
Trump touted the his Meme coin and promoted it, all his followers bought in, but Trump earned 635 million for licensing and royalties for the use of his picture, while most everyone else lost between 93 to 97% value on their investment.
My point is this, theirs just nobody out there who typically makes 87% profit on investments.
I’m an American who agrees with Freddy’s comments. Small town America for the most part, from what I have seen, are very welcoming. I myself have taken in baseball games being played. Yes, our stadiums are huge but keep in mind, the tax payers often times have to foot the bill, and if it were up to them I think many of our stadiums would be older. Don’t get me wrong, I like the newer stadiums, I just don’t like tax payers having to pay. I went to PNC Park for the All Star Game, that stadium is awesome, but the Allegheny County raised the sales tax to pay for it and other sports facilities. I guess I got off track but in the end I’m glad Freddy and all the other visitors are seeing us, the people, for who we really are, and how great we really do have it here. I’m for one proud to be an American.
As retired military, I have spent a lot of time in Europe, I love Europe, I love the people there, but there’s no place like home! In fact my wife and I are heading to Europe for 30 days next month, our annual vacation, from Norway to Rome and the German Alps in Berchtesgaden, but you know as much as I walked the streets of Europe I very seldom get people saying hello. In America, I can walk down the streets and 30 people will say hello in a 30 minute walk. The people are friendly here.I hope we can get to a place where our leaders can work together, but for the people, we are proud to be American. I thank you for pointing this out, in fact I almost teared up just listening to you, so thank you for pointing this out, Americans as a whole love to have visitors from other countries come to visit, and your not going to see any problems for the most part, yes we have our small % of troublemakers but if you come to America you are going to get a lot of welcomes. Thanks again.
@FreddyLA7 I lived in Bamberg Germany for 3 years and been back to Europe over a dozen times. Your fascination to the US mirrors mine with Europe. I like Europe because Europe is more laid back, a big welcome after living in the US.
I’ve never in my life seen any waitress do that but if she did, I think I would have taken back the $40 I was going to leave. I think even $40 is a good tip, especially if you didn’t take up a lot of her time asking for this & that. The message is probably AI generated to begin with just to get people aroused. I usually leave 20% but it does depend on the level of service too. I would have also called for a manager if that really happened, and I have also called for a manager if I thought the level of service was shitty, or the waiter/waitress said something I didn’t like.
Also, that family may not have been had the extra money, and don’t say what some would say like, “well then, they shouldn’t have either bought or spent that much, or maybe they should have gone to a cheaper restaurant where they wouldn’t have spent that much so they could leave a proper tip”! But in the end I really think this was AI generated just to get a rise out of people, which by the way appears to have done that here.
You’re probably right but ‘what the hell, I would be too, Freddy has made a name for himself by being a social media star and has made a lot of Americans feel great about being Just American’! Yes, we have our issues polically but take all that away and he’s just pointing out what we already know, and that is that Americans are, for the most part, really friendly no matter what town you drive or walk through. If you can pull off some tickets Freddy, then do as I think Nike’s ad agency framed it, Just Do It, or modified it.
@FreddyLA7 Enjoy it while it lasts. Goes to show you becoming a social media mega poster works in your favor! It’s going to be costly shipping all that stuff home. Probably have to pay a tariff.
