How many cases have been unable to proceed today? We should all be astonished by this farce but this is HMCTS and the MOJ, so of course we're not.

Crown Court advocates have had no pay increase at all for well over 3 years - the bar action was in 2022.

There has been no increase in court capacity for as long as anyone can remember.

There is no plan for future investment.

Yet abolishing juries is a cure-all.
