Trump and Vance act as if the problem is that Ukraine is resisting an ongoing Russian invasion. The problem is the ongoing Russian invasion. If they want to use American power to stop the war, apply it to the aggressor. Abusing the victim is not going to end a war of aggression.
No point in trying for a second to be moderate after what we have all seen: Trump, the convicted felon who temporarily rules the United States of America, has tried in a gang (along with JD Vance) to humiliate the man who today proves by deeds that he is the leader of the free world: Zelensky.
Zelensky is the president of a sovereign, independent country invaded by the Russians, destroyed by tens of millions of shells and over 1 million Russian soldiers thrown into battle against it.
Because they (Ukrainians) had the guts not to obey Russia, hundreds of children were raped, thousands of women were raped, tens of thousands of servicemen and women were killed, tens of thousands of children were abducted, hundreds of thousands of other men and women were injured, millions of families were left homeless.
For having the nerve (Zelensky) to disobey Trump's America (don't confuse it with the United States of America), these thugs tried to humiliate the leader of the victimi nation after inviting him to sign a deal that is hard for Ukraine and Ukrainians to swallow.
What's next:
1. Next comes an American and Russian media firestorm against Zelensky and Ukraine. The goal: change the narrative to "Zelensky is to blame for the war going on and people dying";
2. A diplomatic reaction from Europe;
3. A Putin's supportive reaction to Trump;
The Truth: Putin and Russia are solely to blame for the death and suffering of every single person in Ukraine. That and nothing more.
@AmbasadaSUA because I know you are reading me: we Romanians appreciate the United States of America, but not Trump. We do not support and do not appreciate the relativization of evil nor its trivialization. We do not appreciate and we do not accept leaders who try to humiliate the victims and appreciate the aggressors. We do not appreciate and we do not accept an administration that removes from the Romanian justice system two individuals (the Tate brothers) accused of rape, child trafficking, human trafficking.
We agree on one thing, dear US Embassy in Romania, from what your vice-president said about Romania in Munich: we do not share common values. Trump and Vance are thugs who defend and support common criminals and war criminals in the face instead of victims. We don't.
The shot was taken in the Kyiv metro.
A photo of a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on an escalator in the Kyiv metro has gone viral on the Internet.
The photo shows a military man in uniform walking with a heavy backpack up an escalator that was not working at the time, while other people, civilians, are queuing for the escalator that will take them up.
The photo has already been dubbed the "symbol of the year" and "our present".
