@jeremycole I swear I’m one of the only people who goes around them correctly in my neighborhood- I almost get hit every day on my commute to and from work which is just through a neighborhood! Also, drivers love to run through stop signs around here 😵‍💫

As for my middle school students last year, they’re severely set back both socially and academically.

Personally I think this is a result of the pandemic. I strongly believe that everyone under the age of ~25 had 2-3 years of lost time and stunted growth. I’ve seen it in my middle school students, I’ve experienced it myself, as have my peers. It’s rough out there.

More of my friends who I’d previously considered mentally healthy & able to roll with the punches (better than I could in my teens and early 20’s) have reached out over the past 2-3 years w/ depression themselves for the 1st time in their lives. Unsure of how to coexist with it.
