In a landmark decision by the State Cabinet, the monthly honorarium for tribal community leaders (Samajpatis) has been increased from ₹2,000 to ₹5,000. As per the new amendment, government employees and pensioners will also be eligible to receive this benefit.

This progressive step reflects the government’s deep respect and sincere commitment to recognizing the invaluable role and social contributions of the Samajpatis in tribal communities.
