I built Beckon: press ⌥⇧Space in any Mac app and hand what’s on your screen to Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor or Gemini.
The answer streams right in the bar. No copy, paste, or explaining which file.

question for indie devs selling software:
would you rather have 100 people paying $10/month or 100 people buying a $99 lifetime license?
assuming you're building and supporting it alone.
the next big improvement in AI coding won't be generating more code.
it'll be agents that can understand logs, traces, existing architecture and why the last deployment failed.
mac users, what's one tiny annoyance in macOS that you wish someone would just build an app to fix?
not a huge feature. something you deal with every day.
AI can write 1,000 lines of code in minutes.
somehow reviewing those 1,000 lines takes longer than writing them myself used to.
we solved typing. not trust.
@AmolWalunjsv18 The issue is with loops, it will fix one thing and break 5 other. Predefining the tests is something I find useful and to be sure that nothing else breaks.
