The Wisdom Behind Trials  

At times, God listens to a person’s prayers and blesses them with His grace, while at other times, He tests them, and they must accept His will with patience. These trials are always for the benefit of a person, as they are part of God’s divine law. Those who endure with faith and perseverance become deserving of His grace and blessings.

The Power of Consistency in Prayer

When you want to dig for gold, you keep digging, separate the sand, and spend days doing so. Similarly, if you stay consistent in prayer, you will find your answers. If you keep praying and begging Allah for help, slowly and gradually, you will achieve your goal.

The Prophet's (sa) Prayer for Protection and Guidance

The Holy Prophet (sa) prayed:  
"O Allah, apportion for us fear of You that shall come between us and disobedience of You, and obedience to You which shall cause us to obtain Your Paradise, and certainty which shall make the afflictions of the world easy for us. O Allah, allow us to enjoy our hearing, our sight, and our strength as long as You keep us alive, and make it the inheritor of us. Let our vengeance be upon those who have wronged us, aid us against those who show enmity towards us. Do not make our affliction in our religion, do not make this world our greatest concern, nor the limit of our knowledge, and do not give power over us to those who will not have mercy on us."

The Power of Prayer and Humility

The Promised Messiah (as) says:

“The God to Whom I invite is very Gracious, Merciful, Modest, True, and Faithful. He bestows His mercy on the humble ones. You too should be faithful and pray with all sincerity and faith so that He may bestow His mercy on you. Dissociate yourselves from the commotion of the world and do not give religious complexion to your egoistic disputes. Accept defeat for the sake of God so that you may become heirs to great victories. God will show miracles to those who supplicate and those who ask will be blessed with extraordinary grace. Prayer comes from God and to Him it returns. Through prayer God becomes as close to you as your very life.”

Allah Can Change Decree and Destiny

Allah has the power to change decrees and certain destinies. Therefore, we should consistently pray, striving for the acceptance of our prayers. In this blessed month of Ramadan, we pray that Allah grants us salvation. May this Ramadan be a Ramadan of acceptance, where Allah allows us to make lasting changes in our lives. We ask Allah to grant us the ability to implement these changes permanently. Ameen.

Centenary of the Fazl Mosque: A Testament to Sacrifice, Faith, and Divine Assistance 🕌

During the Friday Sermon, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (aba) mentioned the historic importance of the Fazl Mosque, the first mosque built in the heart of London, within a Christian community.

The Promised Messiah (as) envisioned the spread of Islam in the West. His vision of delivering a sermon in London and catching white birds, which he interpreted as a sign that many righteous people from the West would accept and embrace Islam.

Towards the end, His Holiness (aba) prayed that we become true adherents of Islam, fulfilling the vision of the Promised Messiah (as) by upholding the rights of worship and promoting peace and harmony in the world.
