US Calls on Cambodia and Thailand to Cease Clashes and Seek Peaceful Solutions
PHNOM PENH The United States has called for an immediate end to hostilities, urging both Thailand and Cambodia to seek a peaceful resolution.
Principal Deputy Spokesperson for the Department of State, Tommy Pigott, said in a press briefing on July 24 that the U.S. has been deeply saddened as escalating violence along the border harms civilians.
“The United States urges an immediate cessation of hostilities, protection of civilians, and a peaceful resolution of the conflict,” he said.
