Self-reliance.
Self-reliance.
Self-reliance.
Self-reliance in every sector is crucial for India. In the coming years, major world powers may increasingly resort to tactics aimed at hindering India's development.
🚨 JUST IN: 🇨🇳 China Restricts Tunnel-Boring Machine Exports Sought by 🇮🇳 India
China has announced export controls on tunnel-boring machines, citing national security, with restrictions taking effect on November 18.
The move could affect India’s infrastructure projects, including metro, rail and border tunnels, as India relies on imported machines and has already faced delays in securing them from China.
Protests or marches in central Delhi can have a wider economic impact beyond traffic congestion.
Barricades, road closures and security restrictions can keep customers away from markets like Connaught Place and Janpath, affecting shopkeepers, restaurants and street vendors.
Repeated disruptions can also delay deliveries, waste working hours and hurt daily earnings.
The challenge is to protect the right to peaceful protest while minimising the impact on businesses and commuters.
In a decision announced today, Delhi Police withdrew Jantar Mantar's status as a designated protest site and designated three new venues:
1. Ramlila Maidan
2. Burari Ground
3. CBD Ground in East Delhi
Better planning and coordination will be crucial to balancing democratic rights with the needs of the city's economy.
BREAKING:
Govt revokes Jantar Mantar’s status as an official protest site in Delhi.
3 new protest sites announced:
• Ramlila Maidan
• Burari Maidan
• CBD Ground in East Delhi
The decision follows recommendations of a committee set up by the MHA
BREAKING:
All three CJP leaders, Abhijeet Dipke, Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka, have been released from detention by Delhi Police following an order by Delhi’s Executive Magistrate Court.
Looks like the Delhi Police and authorities finally learnt from the previous protests and prepared to prevent a repeat of the chaos and violence.
Instead of waiting for crowds to gather at Jantar Mantar, police focused on intercepting protesters, detaining key leaders and restricting access routes across Delhi-NCR.
Metro restrictions, railway disruptions and other preventive measures were also reported as authorities worked to contain mobilisation before it reached the protest site.
The approach highlights a key principle of policing: preventing a law-and-order crisis is better than struggling to control one after it begins.
For a city like Delhi, advance planning and coordinated security operations are essential to maintaining public order and keeping vital infrastructure functioning.
BREAKING: Delhi Police personnel entered the aircraft carrying CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke and his team after it landed in Delhi.
He has been detained now.

This MEA Press Release dated 14 October 2024 was most toughest words we have ever used for a Western nation.i.e. Canada
Unsure if we will ever use same language for USA considering power differential, leverage, dependencies (visas for starters etc) and other party favors we owe. We will never burn that bridge.
We lost lives of Indian Sailors because US Forces decided to attack their vessel. We could have lost more Indian lives.
Breaking: India officially declares Delhi blasts as a "Terror Attack".
The perpetrators, conspirators and handlers will be bought to justice without delay.
Glad to see people finally raising their voices about the pollution crisis in the capital.
If this energy had shown up in the last 3-4 years, maybe we’d have actually seen some change by now.

Congratulations to Thiru CP Radhakrishnan Ji on winning the 2025 Vice Presidential election. His life has always been devoted to serving society and empowering the poor and marginalised. I am confident that he will be an outstanding VP, who will strengthen our Constitutional values and enhance Parliamentary discourse.

There are places that touch your soul with peace and serenity that is synonymous with them … on a visit, a dozen years ago maybe I’d missed the magic or probably rushed … this time around, waited to let the breeze gently touch me, paused to breathe the freshness … resolved to trek up yet again to the tiger’s nest - Taktsang, they say it’s one of 100 places you must go to in a lifetime - even hit a few balls on the golf course … the land of the thunder dragon … magical, remarkable Bhutan
PM Modi has landed in China after 7 years to attend the SCO Summit. 🇨🇳
In geopolitics, there are no permanent friends or enemies, what ultimately matters is the national interest.
