@g__j Personally I’d argue that’s a reason for building out better infrastructure rather than zonal pricing that leads to a disadvantage to certain businesses and communities purely because of where they live. Quite the opposite of levelling up. Just ask telecoms 💡

@padresj (photo from yesterday)… we’ve just driven from the UK to Rome in an electric van. Running Starlink and 5G bonded with a peplink, powered by an EcoFlow charged from the van. Are you still broadcasting your WiFi network at the Vatican?
I used to do Leo’s shownotes

This month we celebrated the purchase of our new home for Blue Telecoms and Blue Electrics. 13 years of hard work by the entire team has paid off.
As a small business, we've accomplished things together that I never thought possible.
We are a family, so this really is a home.🥳
2021: I switched to an EV.
2022 H1: All our company vehicles moved to EV's, installed Solar Panels on my home, converted to electricity for our home heating, and bought carbon offset credits for our datacentre use.
2022 H2, I decided it was not enough to just cover my and (1/2)
my business' usage, but that of others... so I launched Blue Electrics, to offer affordable and professional Solar PV and Renewable energy to other homes and businesses in South Wales.
We must do more. #ClimateChange (2/2)
How many stores have Solar Panels? The ROI for M&S would likely be <2 Years. Further cover any deficit in energy usage by investing in wind farms and closer to being carbon neutral 🙌

M&S energy bill to rise by £100m in 2023 https://t.co/NTlrYKXnT8
As the former Energy Minister who signed Net Zero into law, for the sake of our environment and climate, I cannot personally vote tonight to support fracking and undermine the pledges I made at the 2019 General Election.
I am prepared to face the consequences of my decision.
Whilst most of the country was a good 49% or more wind powered today, as ever South Wales is #CookingOnGas. @WelshGovernment stop the greenwashing 50mph speed limits and allow us to build more #solar and #wind farms urgently… for one it makes us less reliant on the Russians!
@jodiecongirl We’ve got an Audi E-Tron that works extremely well, and the last one is a van, so not really apples to apples. The next one couple we’d be eyeing up are Hyundai Ionic’s or Kia EV6’s (same car, different body). Both are streets ahead in terms of features, outdoing even the Audi!
@jodiecongirl So I’ve converted the company to all electric… we have two 42kwh Nissan Leafs that work really well for every day driving, but anything that’s going to require more than a single rapid charge is a no go because of the battery cooling issue someone else mentioned…
@Synology Please could you hurry up and test / approve the @Seagate ST18000NE000 IronWolf Pro 18TB for use in the RS4021xs+ so we can use capacities from a trusted vendor of larger than 16TB please. I have 16 of them ready to go after you guys said they were compatible!!!
@Synology@Seagate or at the very least, update DSM to stop giving a Critical warning on the drives. Just a simple "I understand these drives aren't supported by Synology" tick box would suffice.
We've been using them for years in our RS4017xs, RS3017xs and Diskstations without issue.
