Tokhan Sahu, Mos MoHUA informed that ministry has not received any proposal from Govt. Of Odisha for metro rail project between BBSR & CTC.
Moreover, says a BRTS would be more beneficial than a metro.
Under the PM E-Bus Service, 100 electric buses approved each for BBSR and CTC.

@manas_muduli I have firm believe the singapore based firm will deliver. But i am also firm that @BDA_BBSR will fail to execute that master plan. Prime example bbsr town centre project envisioned in 2016 still incomplete.

@pritishsays Viksit odisha only in 2036 , Doesn't expect anything in 2026. Odisha will be developed in a day on Jan 01 , 2036.

@OdishaRail @RissiPanda @Spotlight_BBS Running it on existing network will not solve the traffic problem ,as the route doesn't cover high density areas. And let's not forget the lack of last mile connectivity to the curent PH / Satellite stations.

Road from Axis Bank, Kalarahanga branch to Kalarahanga Railway level crossing was resurfaced in June 2025 and the surface was excellent. No wear and tear until now. But authorities have now dug this excellent road for laying pipelines. @PWD_Odisha @HUDDeptOdisha
