@acweyand Sharing a story from a decade past, but a female surgical resident (4th year) left a menstrual stain on a conference chair, during a mandatory conference, and was basically “assigned” that chair by her male peers thereafter. It’s, actually, a problem.
My son Dylan was shot at least five times in his classroom at Sandy Hook Elementary. He died at just 6 years old. Yet in the years since, not nearly enough has been done to save lives like Dylan’s. Sign our petition demanding action to prevent school shootings. – Nicole

@DrCasteelEM I had an attending who threw nickels at us if we couldn’t remember all 8 of our patients creatinine without referring to our “brain sheets” during multidisciplinary rounds. That behavior was pleasant compared to the emotional abuse.
