I knew deep down that it’ll be hard for me to go to tournaments every week due to my physical disability but I promised myself I’ll win at least one tournament in this game with solo Link ( usually a non viable character)

It was the last few months before ultimate was going to release and I was afraid that I’ll never be able to get at least one W in this specific game.

I entered the first local tournament of that semester at my university which had 80 entrants and I won through winners.

In grand finals, I had to fight the person who beat me in the last tournament I entered, but I managed to 3-0 him to win the entire event.

No one knew me during that time and I was a new student there, but after winning people heard my name

This moment meant a lot to me because of it being my first win, but also due to not giving up on myself based on my circumstances and situation.

This taught me determination, hard work, patience, and more importantly faith to overcome obstacles

I may be disabled but I AM ABLE!
