@paulavanmanen Op de basisschool van mijn dochter mogen de kinderen zelf bepalen wanneer ze gaan lunchen, in de daarvoor bestemde ruimte. Zonder tijdslimiet en zonder film. Kinderen delen op deze school zelf hun dag in, dus dat sluit daarbij aan. Ik vind het heel sympathiek.

@haspelmath I voted fieldwork is ok, but the more I think about it, the more I think it’s not. Do we need a term to replace it? I can say I’m going to Ghana to do research with speakers of a language. Or when it comes to “field methods” etc., say description /documentation.
