“Having an Average Weekend” by Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet (the KiTH theme) is one of pieces of music that has an instant positive impact on my mood. Always meant something good was coming. @KITHOnline
I have a four-year-old neighbour who always reminds me that an enthusiastic greeting makes everyone feel special. Trying to make sure I greet everyone I see enthusiastically, so they know how much they matter to me.
@RonFilipkowski Don't assume this is about the primary. This is about getting their hands on the ballots, disputing as many as possible, and using the existence of their trumped up disputes as "evidence" for claiming issues in the general election in November, despite having no real evidence.
Without additional weaponry, this war will become an endless bloodbath, spreading misery, suffering, and destruction. Mariupol, Bucha, Kramatorsk – the list will be continued. Nobody will stop Russia except Ukraine with Heavy Weapons. #ArmUkraineNow
The best core is often too fragile to travel well, but here’s a selection of core demonstrating the mineralization styles from both the Buckingham Gold and Mountain SEDEX Zn-Cu project that Aston Bay will be displaying at the @MiningAmerica conference in Reno this week.

@GurdeepPandher This is the best thing I've seen on the internet today - good news combined with great dancing, and a fantastic backdrop. You made me smile! Have a wonderful day!
It has been four days since I received the Covid-19 vaccine. Many folks have been messaging me to know how I've been feeling now. Therefore, I decided to re-visit the same frozen Lake Laberge to do my positive & joyous Bhangra dance, which explains all. Have a smileful day!
@MyMichaelaAnne Lots of great shows here, I would add a British comedy by Mackenzie Crook called “The Detectorists”. Beautifully filmed, kind and deeply funny, with jokes that build over multiple episodes. It is on Amazon Prime.
Finally, when rain is mixed with snow, this should clearly be known as a "Panic" of rain.
Compare this to snow, for which we only have and need one term: an “Oh Shit” of snow.
Stay dry out there, as best you can.
This morning, as I walked in the rain, it occurred to me that we in the Lower Mainland need more words for rain.
For example, this morning the radio said it was raining, but it did not sound like the rain had started. It had. This shall be known as a "Trickery" of rain.
@shoelaces3 Thanks for the inspiration! My first experiment with your sour dough yeast was pizza dough. You, sir, are not the hero we deserve, but certainly are the hero we needed!
1) Melt the butter in a large sauce pan over medium heat
2) throw in onion and salt, cook about 5 minutes (until starts to dry out, and the onion gets a bit brown)
3) Minced garlic goes in next, cook 30sec (until fragrant)
4) Crushed tomatoes, sugar go in.
