@KeturahAbigail@MorganaNoire Mine totally was! I had dequervains syndrome (pregnancy tendonitis) the last 8 weeks of my pregnancy! It got SO MUCH better immediately after delivery! And after delivery I could take ibuprofen again and that helped clear up what was lingering.
@KeturahAbigail I actually did appreciate help with diapers for the first few weeks while healing from my c-section. Bending over in any way was rough on my incision and even worse on my back. 🤷🏼♀️
@holistic_marie So for normal tendonitis the recommended treatment is NSAIDs like ibuprofen but ibuprofen is actually and truly not pregnancy safe. So for dequervains syndrome (pregnancy tendonitis) the recommended and subpar treatment is Tylenol. But thank God at least there is Tylenol.
Homicide, mostly with guns, is the leading cause of maternal death in America.
Gun violence is the leading cause of death among children in America.
But this administration is focused on regulating … Tylenol.
Just popping in to say that if we tell pregnant women there are no OTC pain relievers they can take for any reason, good luck gettin that birth rate up 😬
People don’t realize how safe and effective acetaminophen is for pain and fever. By scaring people away from Tylenol, fevers will either go untreated (dangerous, especially for young children and fetuses) or NSAIDs will take its place, which carry much more significant side effects, like stomach ulcers or kidney injury. It’s not hyperbole to say the president yelling at people not to take this medication will lead to deaths.
My children are not on the autism spectrum because I took Tylenol while pregnant. They’re on the autism spectrum because I, a person who will wear only one type of shoe and can’t eat food that is “too potato-y,” had babies with a man who has an encyclopedic knowledge of European aristocracy but a limited ability to process social cues.
@SenMikeLee Hi do you remember 3 months ago when you made horrific jokes about the deaths of a sitting Minnesota house speaker and her family? Not posting is always an option Mikey.
i’m gonna be really pretentious about the people claiming eldest daughter when they.. aren’t. the eldest daughter. you wouldn’t last an hour in the asylum where they raised me actually
having a severely autistic sibling is foundational to my worldview. being told to “be patient” while my boundaries were violated daily for over a decade didn’t teach me empathy. it taught me that in the absence of hierarchy, dysfunction wins. and the stable always pay the price.
