#Apple says “The new design with Liquid Glass is beautiful, delightful, and instantly familiar.” Can you spot the buttons in the #applenotes app? Oh the joys of using t new #ipados
Customer obsession is one of @amazon 's principles. But funny enough after calling support for 5 times they haven't proactively called back to fix my problem, but expect me to handle it.
I guess the principles are just like values in many companies, good advertising.

@RishadPremji Should we be worried if someone is working multiple jobs? Or should we be worried if they are effective? I say trust your people, give them a purpose and space to excel. If you can't trust your engineers then you have made a wrong hire.
@RishadPremji We contemplated about moonlighting while setting up our hub in India. There was a lot of chatter indeed. But seriously trust your people, salary may not be the only reason they are moonlighting. Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs comes to my mind. Are your engineers challenged enough?

In the book, Lords of finance, the author says "trusting too much in the rationality of nations and seduced by extraordinary economic achievements of the era... they totally misjudged the likelihood that a war involving all the major European powers would break out".
I've got a 16" @Apple Macbook, with 32 GB of RAM and yet it runs hot and freezes when I run @Zoom; to the point where it is unusable and I have to reboot. I can only think about the paper by Niklaus Wirth, "A plea for lean software".

Hi folks. Do you happen to have any opening for a #dotnet role in Berlin? A friend of mine got let go from his current startup as they couldn't manage to get their funding. A bit of a predicament, he needs to land a job asap or his visa expires.
@masukomi I'm glad you like it. The part with the strings and go is incorrect though. This is particular to my code so I don't need to convert raw bytes to string. If you wanted to check prefix in go you'd strings.HasPrefix(content,"!").
Adding complexity because you can’t trust a programmer to "do it right" has always struck me as wrong. Software architects are not baby sitters. If you worry about "wrong," work collaboratively. Correct issues as they occur.
