We request the German consulate to start accepting the following immediately:
• New visa applications for job contract holders and researchers (employment category).
• Processing existing visa applications.

We cannot start working remotely since EU and German laws don't allow that. Employers will not wait for us anymore since it is affecting their businesses. Many have lost jobs and others will lose too.

EU recommends exemption of employees from the travel bans and all of Germany's neighboring countries have exempted employees, including The Netherlands, Switzerland, France, Poland, Austria. Even the USA has now allowed foreign workers.

We are very few in number (100-200 people from entire India). For quarantine, we will pre-book accommodation and travel with proof.

We will come fully vaccinated, with a negative RT-PCR test report before boarding flight, undergo strict 21 days quarantine, and get tested multiple times in between. We will follow all guidelines of the state to stop the spread of covid-19.

We have job contracts from German employers, we are NOT job seekers. Our families depend on us and many of us have lost our incomes. Many have left their jobs in India and are now clueless about their future. We are not traveling for leisure but for livelihood.

Thank you for considering employers/ researchers. We are not heard much as we are not as huge as students but our lives depend on our work. We resigned our previous jobs and already our joining date is passed. Please consider us.
