Checkout statewide "boom car" law (NJ Rev Stat § 39:3-69.1). If police officer can hear your music from 50 feet away, they can issue a steep ticket: $250 to $500 for a first offense, escalating up to $1,000 and two motor vehicle points by the third strike.
#hoboken Would love to see these 3 fabricated SlingShots parked infront of a few city council members home. Speakers are facing outwards. Easy moneymaker for city.....
#hoboken The traffic on 15th is horrible during. It's a total crap chute if HPD is directing traffic. There are some that are very active and others just stand around. It's alot of OT just to be standing around watching. Very frustrating.
@MichaelRussoNJ thinking about opening a bar in your ward with an outdoor patio that will feature live music and DJs. I will be marketing it to out of towners. I'm sure you neighbors will love it!
@Tiffanie_Fisher Thank you and HPD. 15th Street seems to be moving much easier in the morning, as they wave traffic thru the stop signs. Makes a big difference!!!
#hoboken @HobokenEmily If you allow a Free Palestine rally to start at Pier 13 w 9 police officers, surely you can write tickets for motorcycles parked on the sidewalk!!!!
@CityofHoboken @HobokenEmily Why can't the Mayor, Phil and Joe just admit they were part of the problem with rubber stamping Ravi? They are complicit and need to admit they made mistakes.
@CityofHoboken This shouldn't be dropped on a beautiful Saturday, when most people will miss it!! Isn't one of the many reasons why taxes are going up is because You , Joe and Phil were a rubberstamp for Ravi? Take some ownership!!!
They assembled on property owned by Iron State (Shipyard). Were they granted premission to assemble at this location?Since Hoboken is in a financial situation, can't they reject the permit to march? Taxpayers shouldn't have to foot this bill for crap like this...
@TheBiggestBick@PetaZetazz@CityofHoboken Pier 13 definitely have a liquor license. They have too.The Shipyard needs to pay more in taxes. All of their properties are lumped together. They must have a sweetheart deal. HOBOKEN IS afraid to crack down on them for some reason . There deals need to be looked at and reworked.
@vburshteyn@CityofHoboken @HobokenEmily Agreed. Emily, Phil and Joe followed Ravi like a puppy dog. Voted in favor of all his spending, never once speaking up ans opposing. They were part of the problem that got us here. How quickly they forget. They should own up and admit fault.
If Henderson Street@ Observer is closed, why is the stop light operational? The traffic that it's causing is ridiculous. If there is a reason, make the light going into Hoboken green. #hoboken
