The Numbers Don't Lie: The Answer to "What Did KCR Do?"

For years, critics and political opponents kept asking one cynical question..

"What did KCR actually do?"

Today, they have their answer in black and white.

According to RBI Handbook data (compiled in the Business Standard State of States report, Page 14), Telangana recorded the highest agriculture GVA growth of any state in India an outstanding 6.9% average annual growth between 2016–17 and 2024–25, ahead of Tamil Nadu (5.99%), Manipur (5.59%), Assam (5.45%), and every other state.

This is not a political claim. It is an independent assessment that validates the transformation of Telangana's agriculture.

This achievement did not happen overnight. It was built on @KCRBRSPresident vision and execution assured irrigation through major projects including Kaleshwaram and Mission Kakatiya,free quality power to farmers, timely availability of seeds and fertilizers, and an effective procurement system that gave confidence and stability to every farming family. These reforms transformed Telangana into one of India's leading agricultural states.

For everyone who kept asking, "What did KCR do?", this report is the answer. The figures speak louder than propaganda, political rhetoric, or selective narratives.

What is even more concerning is that this hard-earned achievement is now under serious challenge.

In just two and a half years, the Congress government has pushed the agricultural sector into uncertainty water scarcity, power interruptions, urea shortages, and poor procurement undermining the very ecosystem that made Telangana the country's top-performing agricultural state.

Building agricultural strength took years of vision, planning, and execution. Weakening it has taken just two and a half years.

The numbers have spoken. The question now is not "What did KCR do?"

The real question is:

Why is the @revanth_anumula government allowing Telangana's hard-earned agricultural gains to slip away?
