Head out to the Dark Sky Park at Ariyur Shola Reserve Forest at Kolli Hills, Tamilnadu.

Tucked away in the Forest, this is one of those rare pockets in southern India where the night sky still reveals itself in full.

It’s not at the level of the world’s best dark-sky reserves (like Atacama or Ladakh’s Hanle)

But in their own inimitable fashion, @supriyasahuias & her team have taken what was simply a naturally dark landscape & without overwhelming it, shaped it into a thoughtful destination.

And done so in an eco-friendly manner.

Visitor numbers are deliberately capped, infrastructure is minimal.

She recognised that darkness itself is a scarce resource that must be preserved & rediscovered.
