The first of very few reviews I'm doing this @edfringe over on my experimental blog - a double write-up of Palingenesis and Lost Connection @taiwanseason21

And Then the Rodeo Burned Down @andthentherodeo @theSpaceUK is like Beckett for late-stage capitalism and something about the core of working + life for zoomers. Fantastically written.
For anyone asking me to review their shows - really sorry but I left Edinburgh at the weekend. Currently working through my backlog of shows to review...
Elf & Duffy: Heist was so fucking absurd and bizarre and SILLY and I LOVED it. Also very cool to see BSL visual vernacular used a little bit, as Duffy calls it 'baby VV'. @ThisDuffy @elf_lyons @BarrelComedy
Without Sin @Summerhallery genuinely felt like the meaning of life for me, and ever since I went I have been seeking out other ways to get a similar experience of mindful conversational intimacy with strangers. I love that kind of stuff. Recommendations welcome!
My reviewing style is purposefully weird this #Edfringe, and it's got me thinking about the concept of queer failure (there is a book on it by Jack Halberstam), where you make a conscious choice to not progress or succeed in the normative way, and to embrace childishness and play
Here is my review of @mamoru_iriguchi and @gavinpringle's What You See When Your Eyes Are Closed😴, What You Don't See When Your Eyes Are Open👀 @Summerhallery. My review explores accessibility for people with visual impairments😊.

@mashatiunova1 @PerfRecovery Oh that's interesting! I'll look out for your stuff :) and yeah, it's tricky to strike that balance within the system we're working in
