I don’t really believe there’s such a thing as wasted time. Sometimes things don’t turn out the way we hoped, and it’s easy to feel like all that effort was for nothing. But every experience leaves us with something, no? Maybe we just don’t see its value right away.
Perhaps “wasted time” exists only in our expectations, not in reality. Maybe the feeling of having wasted time comes from the pressures of capitalism; the constant expectation that we should always be achieving, producing, or gaining something.
I totally get why people fall for my friends—they have such beautiful hearts. Just look at them, they’re truly wonderful! I sincerely hope they always find happiness, kindness, and love wherever they go. My prayers are always with them.
