Visakhapatnam has built India’s longest cantilever glass bridge, a 55 metre structure atop Kailasagiri, set to open on 25 Sept at a cost of ₹7 crore.

Made with German laminated glass and 40 tonnes of steel, it can hold 100 visitors and offers views of the Bay of Bengal.

The bridge surpasses Kerala’s Vagamon Glass Bridge and is part of Andhra Pradesh’s tourism push, alongside projects like the ₹5.5 crore Trishul installation on Kailasagiri.
