The injury is the brain itself bouncing off the hard skull (possibly multiple times). It’s even the “small” injuries that don’t get this attention over the course of many years of playing -> CTE.
@HyRuleKing@mannyfidel@shaunking The injury is the brain itself banging against the hard, immobile skull. His brain bounced around the inside of his skull which caused numerous injuries. When it happened the second time it did the same thing. It isn’t whether or not a direct hit to the head occurred.
