i was going to say that the focus on how outraged moralist shoujo fans are going to be whenever a slightly controversial romance gets an adaptation or is brought to people's attention in some other way is getting corny but they're kinda proving everyone right
didn't want to say it while it was a hot topic but that recently axed manga is actually the author's one work i couldn't really get into. i find that she does office lady shenanigans better

everyone wants to be seen as a connoisseur of whatever genre they like but no one wants to move past twitter discourse and read some books or articles about it. or yk, read the manga
