@BitcoinMania___ It’s more virtue signalling than anything else, and Bitcoin doesn’t have “morals”. The issue here is not the proposed idea but it’s how they have gone about it. It’s like a small coup trying to revolt, revolt against what? If it doesn’t quietly die off it will cause a fork.
@BitcoinbamX@saylor@ChrisMMillas What no i mentioned sovereign money thesis and that’s the one I want but price go up isn’t directly linked to sovereign money
@BitcoinbamX@saylor@ChrisMMillas The bitcoin grabbing a large chunk of “store or value” thesis is the most logical asymmetrical bet currently. But logic doesn’t account for timing or liquidity. It doesn’t matter who you are you can be over leveraged, and he is to the TITS.
@BitcoinbamX@saylor@ChrisMMillas And if institutions and big boys (saylor) buy up all the bitcoin (where we’re headed) the sovereign sound money thesis dies. Does number go up thesis die with it? Nope
@BitcoinbamX@saylor@ChrisMMillas And no I don’t follow him, I’ve been learning about bitcoin for 5 years now, I don’t get my opinions from paid shills… I don’t need another person to tell me this looks bad lol.
Saylor is actually an “existential” risk to Bitcoin.
@geekigai@CryptoPezza@LukeDashjr@dathon_ohm What miners lose revenue from less spam, ordinals and runes have become a real revenue source, the only way miners switch last minute is to act as a hedge.
