I think my issue with current DW is Ncuti’s tenure was bookended by nepotism.

First, he is undermined by having Tennants 14 still running about with his own TARDIS and it ended with Piper.

RTD can’t move beyond his glory days and it really shows. He’s making this for him

i love this scene because it is so very clear that nynaeve represents liandrin’s soft spot. she allows lanfear to “unburden” her by killing her son only to be faced with the same problem all over again. these characters are polar opposites but work wonderfully together
