That man is not unlucky. He is paying a deed written in a life he does not remember.
This is the design. Avidya is what puts a soul into a position at all. Without it there is no birth, no role, no high and no low.
With it, everyone gets a seat, and the seats rotate.
Across millions of births he has sat where you are sitting, comfortable, phone in hand, writing a post about a man like you.
You did not earn your family either. You woke up inside it, carried there by karma you cannot remember.
And the comfortable man rarely turns to God, because the world keeps him fully occupied.
He thinks he has achieved something.
Let one asteroid be announced tomorrow and the whole of humanity is finished in a day. Every position, every trillion, every name, gone together. That is how much of it was ever ours.
Notice that Vedic prayer does not even stop at the self. Let the rivers stay full, let the plants keep bearing fruit. Naivedya works the same way. We offer, the temple distributes, it reaches someone.
Everything is connected. We only live in avidya about it.
Today marks the 356th anniversary of 'Battle of Sinhagad'- the near impossible mission led by Tanaji Malusare on Feb 4, 1670, to capture the fort of Sinhagad near Pune from the Mughals.
The mission was a success, but Tanaji had to make the ultimate sacrifice - today is his 356th Punyatithi.
Today we remember the 355th anniversary of the Battle of Sinhagad a near-impossible mission led by Veer Tanaji Malusare to capture Sinhagad Fort under the command of Chatrapathi Shivaji Maharaj.
The fort was won, but Tanaji gave his life for Swarajya.
His courage echoes forever.
🙏 355th Punyatithi of a true warrior.
