@BrianDaggett@supersonic16023 Understand that still images don't convey the whole picture. The salute is done in a very specific motion. The iconic image of it is just the end position of the whole salute. Look up each of these videos and compare them to videos of the actual salute.

@dragonwing5036@JSchmalz5@Real_World_Info California is ablaze and the south is getting unprecedented snow. That's after record hurricanes and flooding. I'd say we've become like cancerous cells and nature is actively fighting against us
@luckyBard97 @NothingButTommo @againstgrmrs I'm pretty sure we get included in this stuff because the image creator just threw in the flags they found without bothering to look up what identity they represent.
If it walks like a Duck, Quacks like a duck...
That piece of garbage, Elon Musk, openly supports AFD in Germany and uses a salute that is favored by the NAZIs (don't come at me with that ancient Roman nonsense when real modern Nazis are using it right now). He's a fascist.
I’m genuinely baffled. Are people really okay with a former president removing classified documents from the White House, refusing to return them when asked, and then lying to the government about their existence?
Let’s not forget: he didn’t just withhold the documents—he actively hid them from a court-ordered search team. This wasn’t some innocent mistake. This was deliberate obstruction of justice. And after all of that, he claims to be the victim?
How is this acceptable? Is the argument that he somehow had the right to unilaterally take classified materials, lie to federal authorities about them, and obstruct a lawful investigation?
And no, this is not like the Biden documents case. President Biden’s team voluntarily disclosed the discovery of documents, immediately notified authorities, and cooperated fully with the National Archives and the Department of Justice. There was no lying, no hiding, and no obstructing a lawful investigation. Comparing the two is like comparing night and day—they’re not even in the same galaxy of wrongdoing.
Let’s be clear about the stakes here. Mishandling classified documents risks national security. Obstructing efforts to recover them undermines the rule of law. If anyone else had done this—if a member of the military, a government employee, or even another elected official had behaved this way—they’d already be behind bars.
So, which is it? Do people believe Trump was above the law, entitled to break it at will? Or do they simply not care about the dangers and dishonesty his actions represent?
It’s hard to see a third option here—and the implications for justice and accountability couldn’t be more serious.
@jontylerMS@DougWahl1 The governing of an entire country of people isn't a game to win or lose. Both sides have a responsibility to the people. If either side fails that responsibility, it is the right of the people to do something about it. It's not my side vs your side. It's us vs the rulers
