Hungary strongly condemns Iran’s attacks against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Gulf states, including the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.

Any step aimed at escalating the conflict is unacceptable and further increases instability in the Middle East.

The security and stability of the region are of global interest, and Hungary supports de-escalation.

We stand in solidarity with our friends in the region, who are under ongoing attacks.

Az Egyesült Arab Emírségek Védelmi Minisztériuma bejelentette, hogy az Egyesült Arab Emírségeket ma nyílt támadás érte, amely során iráni ballisztikus rakétákat indítottak az ország ellen. A közlemény szerint az Emírségek légvédelmi rendszerei nagy hatékonysággal működtek, és több rakétát sikeresen elhárítottak.

A hatóságok egy lakóövezetben lehullott rakétatörmelék következményeit is kezelték; a becsapódás anyagi károkat okozott.

A lehulló törmelék következtében egy ázsiai állampolgárságú civil életét vesztette. A hatóságok megerősítették, hogy az ország biztonsági helyzete továbbra is stabil, az illetékes szervek pedig a nap 24 órájában figyelemmel kísérik a fejleményeket.

A Minisztérium határozottan elítélte a támadást, hangsúlyozva, hogy az Egyesült Arab Emírségek következetesen elutasít minden, polgári célpontok, létesítmények vagy nemzeti intézmények elleni támadást. Kiemelte, hogy az ilyen cselekmények veszélyes eszkalációt jelentenek, veszélyeztetik a civilek biztonságát, és aláássák a stabilitást.

A Minisztérium közölte, hogy a támadás a nemzeti szuverenitás és a nemzetközi jog nyílt megsértésének minősül. Hangsúlyozta, hogy az Egyesült Arab Emírségek fenntartja a jogot a válaszlépések megtételére, valamint minden szükséges intézkedés alkalmazására területének, állampolgárainak és lakosainak védelme, illetve szuverenitásának, biztonságának és stabilitásának megőrzése érdekében.

A Minisztérium megerősítette, hogy teljes készültségben áll, és készen áll bármilyen fenyegetés kezelésére. A tárca hozzátette, hogy az állampolgárok, a lakosok és a látogatók biztonsága továbbra is kiemelt fontosságú, amely semmilyen körülmények között nem sérülhet.

A Minisztérium arra kérte a lakosságot, hogy kizárólag hivatalos forrásokból tájékozódjon, és tartózkodjon a szóbeszéd, illetve meg nem erősített információk terjesztésétől.
