@edwnjos@NPCollapse@ESYudkowsky Brain coral has a nervous system (barely!) but does not have a brain. Dolphins has a brain, but they are more like 1.2 size. Chat GPT is not trust-worthy…
@JDHamkins@andrejbauer @XenaProject Note that all (or at least, most) mathematicians now type, typeset, and edit their own papers. These three jobs used to be done by typists, typesetters, and copy-editors. Perhaps referees will go the same way, replaced by the computer (and elbow grease).

@littmath@NoamChompers It is almost an axiom of reading undergraduate papers: where there is some plagiarism, there is more.
(Oh, and feel free to insert a joke here about Hilbert's infinite plagiarism or Zeno's ever smaller plagiarisms, etc)
I am very happy to invite everyone to the first talk in the #illustratingmath seminar, taking place online on Friday, May 12th / 9AM Pacific / 12PM Eastern / 6PM Europe. First speaker will be @SaulSchleimer. Please spread the word far and wide and see you all there!
@keenanisalive@akivaw I have been told that the program “nauty” is the correct tool for generating graphs of various kinds. https://t.co/drnxKtLuQF Also, the second problem (relaxing a given doodle) deserves to be hard - like the “same” problem for knot diagrams.
