Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) organised the STPI Electropreneur Summit 2026 at IIIT-Delhi, bringing together government leaders, academia and industry stakeholders to advance India’s Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) ecosystem.

The summit marked important steps towards strengthening support for electronics innovation and entrepreneurship, including the launch of the Open Challenge Programme and the exchange of MoUs with Spoke Centres and investors to expand opportunities for startups and innovators.

“Through STPI Electropreneur Park, we are driving three major trends: deep-tech innovation, talent rising from Tier-II and Tier-III cities, and a renewed focus on ESDM.” 🇮🇳

Addressing the gathering, Shri Arvind Kumar highlighted the significant transformation in India’s technology and electronics landscape and the growing opportunities for innovators in Deep Tech, AI and Electronic System Design & Manufacturing (ESDM).

Speaking about Electropreneur Park, he highlighted its journey and the progress achieved through EP 1.0, which has nurtutred 59 startups and delivered 129 products, 27 trademarks, 66 patent filings and ₹150 crore in cumulative revenue. With the next phase of the initiative, EP 2.0, the focus is on expanding the ecosystem across North India and creating greater opportunities for startups, innovators and emerging talent.

He emphasised that with strong government support, an evolving policy ecosystem and initiatives such as ISM 2.0, this is an opportune time for young innovators to build hardware and design products and contribute to India’s ambition of becoming a global leader in electronics manufacturing and design.

From nurturing innovation to enabling scale, Electropreneur Park is helping shape India’s next chapter in ESDM. ✨
